Sales Targets & Employee Performance
Set monthly sales targets per employee and track leads, successful leads, confirmed bookings, conversion rate and revenue automatically.
What is this?
Before You Start
Prerequisites to configure first:
- Make sure leads and bookings are assigned to the right salesperson. A record counts for its assigned person, or for whoever created it if nobody is assigned.
- Check your agency's timezone and currency in Settings. Months follow your timezone, and revenue is counted in your agency's currency.
Step-by-Step Guide
Open Sales Targets
Go to Sales Targets in the sidebar. The current month is selected.
Set a person's targets
Press Targets next to a team member, or Set targets in their details panel (owners and managers only, for the current or a future month).
- Enter any of: leads, successful leads, confirmed bookings, conversion rate (%) and revenue. Leave a field at 0 for no target.
- Add an optional note, such as the focus for the month.
- To give others the same targets, tick Also apply these targets to other team members and choose who.
Copy last month's targets
Use Copy last month's targets to fill in everyone who has no target yet this month. Existing targets are never overwritten.
Track progress
Team totals, top performers, people needing attention and an employee comparison update automatically as leads are won and bookings confirmed. Use the filters (Achieved, On track, Behind, Missed, No targets) and search to focus.
Review a person or a period
Open an employee to see each target's progress, the note, their results and six months of history. Use the period picker for last month, the last 3 or 6 months, this year or a custom range.
Field-by-Field Breakdown
Detailed definitions for every form input, why it is needed, and realistic travel agency examples.
| Field Name | What it Means & Why Needed | Example Value | Required? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Leads | Leads created in the month. Why: Measures how much new business each person brings in. | 40 | Optional |
| Successful leads | Leads won in the month that are still Won. Why: Measures closing, separately from lead volume. | 15 | Optional |
| Confirmed bookings | Bookings confirmed in the month that are still confirmed, in progress, travelled or completed. Why: Counts only real business. Pending, cancelled and rejected bookings don't count. | 12 | Optional |
| Conversion rate | Successful leads ÷ leads × 100 for the same period. Why: Shows how well leads are turned into sales. It can exceed 100% when older leads are won this month. | 35% | Optional |
| Revenue | The total of those confirmed bookings in your agency's currency. Why: Ties targets to income. Bookings in other currencies are listed separately, never converted. | LKR 2,500,000 | Optional |

Best Practices & Pro Tips
- Set fewer, meaningful targets. A target left at 0 is simply not tracked.
- Each employee's dashboard card shows exactly how many leads or bookings are left, which keeps targets visible every day.
- The first time someone reaches a target, a short celebration plays once; reloading the page doesn't repeat it.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Leaving leads or bookings unassigned. They then count for whoever created them, which may not be the salesperson.
- Expecting pending bookings to count. Only confirmed bookings, and later stages, count towards targets.
